Yes, wear itA sequin dress is a base cloth with sequins stitched or glued on top, and almost always a lining underneath. That makes it heavier and stiffer than a slip dress, and it does not lie against the body the way satin or a thin knit does. Small edges disappear under it. The question under sequins is not whether a seam shows; it is whether the waist looks smooth and whether there is a panty line at the back when you turn.
