The XXS–XS bodysuit covers US 0 to 2: bust 30 to 33.5 inches (76 to 85 cm), waist 23 to 26 inches (58 to 66 cm). It smooths the midsection and waist at medium-firm, holds the waist panel up with fully adjustable straps so it does not roll, and gives the bust its own shape through a built-in bra with no compression on it. The thong cut leaves no line across the seat; the mid-thigh covers the upper thigh under a fitted skirt or dress. Both open at the hook-and-eye crotch closure without taking the bodysuit off.

What medium-firm feels like at this size
Medium-firm means the bodysuit smooths the midsection and waist and is still comfortable to sit and eat in. It is not a maximum-compression garment, and at XXS–XS that matters more than in any other band, because there is less body for the fabric to work against. Measuring at the top of the range, bust 33.5 or waist 26, you will feel the firmest hold this band gives. Measuring at the bottom, bust 30 or waist 23, the hold is lighter and the fit is closer to a smooth second layer than a shaping one.
The bust is the exception. The built-in bra shapes without compressing, at every size, and you can wear your own bra underneath if you prefer. If what you want is maximum compression through the waist, this is the wrong garment at any size; choose a firmer one rather than a smaller band.
